If you’re looking for somewhere to have a calm first date or to chill with some buddies without dishing out too much dough, the Spot is the place to try. The interior exudes a casual yet classy atmosphere, perfect for chatting over coffee — from which there are 10 flavors to choose. Outside behind the building, picnic tables and a walk-up window where you can collect your food beckon to customers in the warmer months. While you’re there, be sure to try the Route 52 wrap ($5.79), which pays homage to the restaurant’s location with breaded eggplant, mozzarella, lettuce, tomato, and chipotle mayo. A multitude of hot dogs ($2.50-$3.50), burgers ($5.25-$5.75), and wings ($8.50-15.50) entice the palate, as does the Venice panini — ciabatta bread overflowing with honey turkey, artichoke, onions, tomato, mozzarella, bacon, and olive oil ($6.59).
