Baseball. For many New Yorkers the term is almost synonymous with the word Yankees. But if a trip to the Bronx or Queens is too far and too expensive, slide over to either Pomona or Wappingers Falls for a (much cheaper) night of the American Pastime watching the Rockland Boulders or the Hudson Valley Renegades, respectively. Make sure you remember the players’ names — any one of them could be the next Derek Jeter some day.
