“Bigger, brighter, louder.”
That’s what Frank Coluccio, owner and president of Legion Fireworks in Wappingers Falls, promises for this year’s July 4th fireworks display in Poughkeepsie. Launched from a barge in the river, this spectacular show will be longer than usual and feature many new effects. Coluccio, who hightails it to China every year to pick up the latest and greatest shells, won’t give away any secrets, but says the fireworks will “move around the sky, if you will.” Interesting.
