Having traveled the world as a diplomat’s daughter, Verdigris owner Kim Bach finds tea to be “fantastically interesting.” At the tea bar, guests can choose from 120 loose teas (hailing from China, India, Japan, Sri Lanka, and South Africa) and other lovely homemade treats — maybe a chocolate-dipped, mocha almond biscotti or raspberry linzer cookies. Sniff teas from the tea library — a former mail sorting bin that houses petite jars of loose leaves with descriptions.
