The flagship museum store for Historic Hudson Valley, its proceeds benefit HHV educational programs.
Ambiance: Located in the red brick visitor’s center serving Philipsburg Manor and Kykuit, this 1,000 sq ft space offers spectacular views of the Mill Pond and the Pocantico River through an adjacent greenhouse.
Vibe: Carefully curated selection of Hudson Valley-inspired merchandise and books, many handmade, crafted and/or locally produced.
Mix: A huge selection of coffee table, photographic, and children’s books on the history of the Hudson Valley, local hiking trails, and the like, including cookbooks; a provisions section featuring small-batch and locally handcrafted gourmet foods; home accents including hand-poured, tapered, and seasonal fragrance candles; unique hand-fashioned jewelry; art work; and a selection of kid-powered toys and games that would have been played in Colonial times, like dominoes, pick-up sticks, playing cards, etc.
