After being cooped up all winter, who wants to slave away in the kitchen for an Easter meal? Skip the stress and reserve a spot at one of these holiday brunches or dinners for dine-in or takeout instead. With gourmet fare and farm-to-table eats galore, the plastic grass is greener at these Hudson Valley hotspots.

City Winery Hudson Valley

The Easter offerings are all the more impressive when paired with a glass of vino from the wine list. Mill Creek Caterers

Mill Creek Caterers offers a little something for the whole family with its breakfast, lunch, and “little lambs” buffet stations. Few places in the Hudson Valley do holiday Italian food quite like the fan-favorite Rossi & Sons. The special take on traditional Easter dishes should not be missed. Sample pizza rustica—a true “pizza pie” filled with mortadella, soppressata, and a slew of Italian cheeses—and pastiera, a wheat and ricotta pie flavored with vanilla beans and candied citrus. In addition, the eatery will offer Italian Easter bread, which is braided sweet brioche bread scented with vanilla beans and orange.
