From the Bayou to the Valley Beer Dinner, The Parish Restaurant, New Paltz

Break bread beside the valley’s best brewers and bottle brains during a five-course feast at this tap house/Cajun kitchen collab. Chatham Brewing will be pouring plenty of its prized pilsners and ales, while New Paltz’s The Parish Restaurant will be cooking up creole classics and backyard BBQ style fare.

FRIDAY

September WRRV Sessions, Newburgh Brewing Company, Newburgh

What do you get when you combine the valley’s top alternative radio station, superstars from Sydney, and a taproom on the ready with awesome ales and IPAs? Newburgh Brewing Company’s monthly concert series, with broadcasts for 92.7 and 96.9 live from the taproom floor. Defiant Brewing Company is bringing in this German holiday early with a full day and night filled with smokehouse sausages, cornhole tournaments, oom-pah tunes, and a tap list straight from the motherland.

 

The Other Side Of Summer, Ford Farm, New Paltz

When you think of beer festivals, family friendly may not be what pops into your mind. But with corn mazes, face painting, a petting zoo, and free admission for kids under 12, this one might just prove you wrong. There’s plenty for the big kids too. Sample from the likes of Westtown Brew Works, Clemson Brothers, and Pine Island Brewery (have you tried their onion beer?), or sip fine local wines from Warwick and Applewood wineries. Plus, plenty valley food truck favorites will be serving to satiate your mid-afternoon munchies.

Harvest: Bottle Release & Farmers Market, Newburgh Brewing Company, Newburgh

Whether you’re a big-time beer trader, or simply prefer a cold pour at supper, this community craft beer marketplace has got you covered with great, limited, and rare bottled brews. While typically only available for purchase on specific brewery release dates, this extensive exclusive selection will be fully accessible for this day only. Get ’em while they’re cold.
