June 3: Newburgh Illuminated This 5th Annual Music and Arts Festival is the second-largest music festival in the Hudson Valley — averaging more than 10,000 in attendance across six blocks in the heart of Newburgh — with dozens of musicians performing on five stages. June 10: Spring for Sound Festival This music festival is in its seventh year. At least 50 bands, solo artists, and DJs will perform on five outdoor and indoor stages. June 17-18: Clearwater’s Great Hudson River Revival Inspired by Pete Seeger’s desire to clean up the Hudson River more than 40 years ago, this popular weekend festival continues that tradition as hosted by the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, Inc. It features seven stages with diverse music, dance, and storytelling, as well as a juried Handcrafters’ Village, a green living expo, small boat exhibits and rides, a food and farm market, environmental education displays/exhibits, and the Circle of Song where audience participation is the focus.
