Riverkeeper Sweep 2013 Helps Restore the Hudson

The second annual river cleanup keeps the Hudson River in tip-top shape

Support our Valley by taking part in the second annual Riverkeeper Sweep on May 11. Last year’s effort attracted more than 450 volunteers from 30 communities along the Hudson. Seven tons of trash were removed and replaced with more than 100 trees. Riverkeeper’s Dan Shapley says the Sweep “is a great way to give back to the river we love — and it reminds us that we have to work together to restore the Hudson.” For more information, visit www.riverkeeper.org.
