A Time to Rhyme

June 17, 24, July 1: Rhyme Time by the Hudson Why have nursery rhymes been passed down through the generations? Well, besides the fact that children (and adults) have fun with them, they’re a great tool for teaching children basic communication and diction skills. At Boscobel’s outdoor program, little tykes ranging from one to five years old learn about the world around them through rhymes, songs, and stories. They even have the chance to play with a giant parachute. 9:30 am. Registration required. $45 adult and child. Boscobel House and Gardens. 1601 Rte. 9D, Garrison. 845-265-3638;
