Green With Envy
Fairy tales have universal appeal thanks to the happily-ever-after endings — and the sins against which they warn us. Part of the Seven Deadly Sins inaugural exhibition of the Fairfield/Westchester Museum Alliance in which each member organization presents one of the cardinal sins, the installation includes photographs, costumed mannequins, and “stage sets.” Snow White’s Evil Queen, Cinderella’s stepsisters, and other fairy-tale characters make appearances and show how they are archetypes for the wickedness.
