Nearly 100 different wines from around the world were poured at the Taste of the Hudson Valley event held at the Grandview in Poughkeepsie on Nov. 1. The evening featured an auction of fine art, rare wines, and celebrity-autographed memorabilia. Proceeds benefited the MidHudson Regional Hospital. From Oct. 23-25, the Catskills Conference brought together the region’s technology titans at the Ashokan Center in Olivebridge. Hudson River Healthcare (HRHCare) raised more than $250,000 at its 11th annual gala, Cornucopia: A Celebratory Benefit of Harvest & Health, on Oct. 17 at Crabtree’s Kittle House Restaurant & Inn in Chappaqua. The funds will help provide comprehensive primary and preventive care to people in need throughout the Hudson Valley and Long Island.
