Things to Do May 2010 On the Town See who’s been out on the town in May 2010 April 9, 2010 |By Hudson Valley » Click on the photo gallery below to see who’s been out on the town this month Hudson Valley’s inaugural Beer and Burger Bash rocked the waterfront at the Shadows on the Hudson marina on August 1. More than 700 attendees taste-tested sliders created by 14 Valley eateries, washing them down with beer provided by Manhattan Distributors. After noshing, and comparing, and noshing some more, our party-goers voted for the burger they liked the best. (Keep clicking through the gallery to learn which restaurant ran away with the coveted “Best of the Bash” title.) Proceeds from this late-summer event will help our charity beneficiary, the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley, provide close to 6,000 meals to local residents in need.
