Teams write the answers down on a piece of paper, then turn them in after each round. The best part is that the top three teams win gift cards to All City Grill. On the last question, the host announces the category. Every team places a bet against their own score, then hands it in and answers the question. The team with the most points wins the prize. In addition, there are Beer-and-Burger Mondays, during which you can enjoy your choice of a draft beer and a signature burger for $14.

35 Main St, Poughkeepsie
Thursdays 8 p.m.

This restaurant, lounge, and pizzeria is home to trivia with a spin. Quiz Quad Thursdays combines bingo and trivia into one fast pace game. You can play in teams, but everyone gets his or her own bingo board. Instead of numbers, answers to trivia questions are placed randomly on each of the boards. Not every card is the same, so you must know the answer, but it also must be on your card. The first person to yell bingo with the correct answers wins for his or her team. The game is fun for both rookie and avid trivia players that want to try something new.
