We honored the Hudson Valley’s outstanding nurses at The Grandview in Poughkeepsie.
Nurses work hard. They put in long hours, stay strong in the face of trauma, and offer support when it’s needed most. That’s why, on May 8, Hudson Valley Magazine honored the region’s outstanding nurses at our 12th Annual Excellence in Nursing Awards. Held at The Grandview in Poughkeepsie, the event welcomed more than 420 attendees to help recognize the achievements and dedication of the talented healthcare professionals. Our 2019 Top Nurse Award went to Steven Kunak of Good Samaritan Hospital for his commitment to the field. High school senior Jasmine Ojeda-Cardona received our nursing scholarship to help her pursue her dream of becoming a nurse.
