Here's What's New At Our Local Apple Farms

You don’t have to walk far at Wright’s Farm in Gardiner; drive right to the orchard area and park near the apple trees. Bring a picnic, too, and your dog while you’re at it, because you have the run of the entire 453-acre property. Once you’ve picked your fill, stop at their farmstand for jams, jellies, pies, bread, and of course a dozen (or more) apple-cider donuts. Thirsty? Visit the 100-year-old barn, turned into a taproom this fall, for a cold one from Gardiner Brewing Co.: Its founder is part of the fifth generation at Wright’s Farm.
