Head Out to the Country Living Fair

My friend, Jana Platina Phipps, or the Trim Queen was nice enough to invite me to attend the Country Living Fair and take part in her awesome trim workshop.

Participants were invited to bring something denim (a jacket, jeans, tote, anything) and decorate it with trim. I decided to bring my daughter’s denim jacket and I had so much fun.

The always creative Jana had plenty of trim options to choose from and everyone had a great time embellishing their accessories.

The Fair boasts so many creative people putting on demonstrations from cooking to crafting and everything in between, plus there are amazing vendors. I wish I could have spent all day looking around and meeting people. If you’re interested, the Country Living Fair is going on all weekend long at the Duchess County Fairgrounds. It runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and passes start at $13.
