May 4: Evening Frog Walk Adventurous amphibians are all over the Valley. Feel like a professional frog monitor as you search for the slimy critters. Learn all about their habits and how to identify them by their different “ribbits” during this evening hunt. Don’t forget your flashlight! Recommended for ages 5 and up. 7:30 p.m. $5. Beautiful ballerinas

May 5-6: The Snow Queen Little lovers of dance don’t have to travel to NYC to see a ballet. The Catskill Ballet Theatre ­— a group comprised of both professional and local dancers — performs Hans Christian Andersen’s masterpiece on stage. Graceful dancers and orchestral music tell the tale of two friends who overcome the wicked Snow Queen and celebrate the coming of spring.
