The Valley’s maple trees are bursting with sap, so let the sugaring season begin! Three local venues host maple madness this month, where experts teach you all about tapping, collecting, boiling, and bottling this sweet treat:

Celebrate the Isles

Mar. 9: Celtic Heels Irish Dance With St. Paddy’s Day right around the corner, there’s no better time to get your fix of Celtic music. Join the Celtic Heels Irish Dance troupe as they skip on the Rhinebeck Center for Performing Arts’s stage and perform choreographed jigs, reels, and hornpipes. 11 a.m. $9, $7 children. Funny, Furry Faces

Mar. 17: Comedy Pet Theatre Circus master Gregory Popovich and his four-legged friends take to the stage at the Egg. The felines and canines — who are all rescue animals — perform comedic acrobatics. Mar. 14: The Bossy Frog Band Bossy the Frog and his band of musical buddies are very excited to perform.
