The Copper Tree Restaurant at Hunter Mountain was the site of this year’s Beaux Arts Ball, which took place on March 29. Now in its 26th year, this colorful gala is hosted by the Greene County Council on the Arts; funds raised are used to support the council’s support of the arts and culture in the region.

As part of the gala’s festivities, Betsy Jacks and Lisa Fox Martin (fourth and fifth from the left, respectively), of the Thomas Cole State Historic Site in Catskill, were presented with the GCCA’s Distinguished Service Award, which recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the cultural life of the county.
