ArtsWestchester, the largest nonprofit private arts council in the state, has debuted a showcase of contemporary visual art by 15 Hudson Valley-based artists.

The Triennial, expected to become a once-every-three-years mainstay of the council’s programming, coincides this year with ArtsWestchester’s celebration of 20 years in its historic building in White Plains. The inaugural arts event is curated by Marc Straus of Marc Straus Gallery and Paola Morsiani of the Brodsky Center at Rutgers University, and will run until July 28 at the ArtsWestchester Gallery (31 Mamaroneck Ave, White Plains, 914.428.4220; www.artswestchester.org)
