Catamount

Gateway to the Berkshires.

Perched on the Massachusetts/New York state line, Catamount has been open since 1939, ranking it among the longest-operating ski areas in the Northeast.

Its more than 130 skiable acres include 36 trails, plus three terrain parks, and seven lifts. Catamount’s signature double-diamond trail for top-notch skiers, the Catapult, is one of the steepest runs in the Northeast.

Catamount offers a full assortment of snow sport programs, including learn-to-ski and snowboard lessons for kids and adults. The popular Women’s Wednesdays program includes ski and snowboard clinics tailored especially for women, taught by certified female instructors. On Mondays–Thursdays (non-holidays), Catamount offers a $20 lift ticket online. Mid-Week Ski & Stay packages are also available at certain lodging areas. Another Catamount bonus: You can hook up your electric vehicle to one of two charging stations while you head to the slopes.
