Remember how disappointed everyone was last winter when the super cheap movie theater at South Hills Mall suddenly closed? It seemed like the party was over. But no worries — after a change of ownership, the theater is now back, with $2 movies on Tuesdays, $3 weekday matinées, and $5 screenings on weekends.
“This isn’t just the best deal in the Hudson Valley, it’s the best deal in New York State,” says Ben Santana, a district manager with new owner, Empire Cineplex. Stay tuned as they upgrade to digital service and puffy high-backed seats that actually recline.
