Through March 12: Art Exhibit: Americana. An exhibit that stages concrete and abstract symbols of American values. March 18–May 14: Exhibition Opening: Lois Dodd. An exhibition of art crafted from cast-off, discarded, and re-purposed materials entitled, Fragments of Imagination: A vignette of Repsychling, demonstrates the importance of conserving our limited natural resources. Through the creative use of different, unlikely materials and imagination, a conversation is started on new ways of envisioning environmental issues. Contributing artists Mark Khaisman, Will Kurtz, Sui Park, and Federico Uribe are known for their imaginative use of repetition, recycling, and repurposing. On display through April 23. The Nyack Art Collective will be hosting their First Friday Group Art Show, where artists exhibit their work in participating village businesses and are on-site to discuss their art and answer questions.
