Bruce Hornsby & the Noisemakers
UPAC, Kingston
April 27, 8 p.m.
On Saturday night, three-time Grammy winner Bruce Hornsby takes the stage at UPAC for a dynamic, exciting performance that transcends the ages. The multitalented performer, songwriter, and pianist — and former member of the Grateful Dead — brings his signature fusion of rock, bluegrass, and jazz to the Hudson Valley to celebrate his 21st album, Absolute Zero, which hit stores earlier in April. We can’t promise anything, but, if we’re lucky, Hornsby may treat the audience to classics like “Mandolin Rain” or “The Way it Is” to complement his new tunes.
