The Face is the Place
Artist Isabelle Scheltjens presents Reinvigoration of the Portrait at the Canfin Gallery. Her portraits in glass present both iconic and personal figures through a refracted, aggressive, and ultimately rather beautiful pseudo-mosaic style that reconsiders the relationship between the face and the persona.
