Dr. Claudia Patch is passionate about helping her community and changing the way people think about dentistry. With that passion came an idea to transform someone’s life with an ultimate smile makeover. She teamed up with Medical Aesthetics of the Hudson Valley and with the creative marketing efforts of KathodeRay Media, was able to successfully hold the first ever You 2.0 Ultimate Smile Makeover Contest. Anyone within Ulster County who was seeking life-changing dental work and wellness care was encouraged to apply. After much deliberation, Dr. Claudia Patch chose Anastacia Franklin as the first winner of You 2.0. Her harrowing story of trying to restore her smile and improve her oral health in the face of a difficult upbringing truly spoke to Dr. Patch. That’s why she and the team at Woodstock General & Implant Dentistry were thrilled to help Anastacia achieve her dreams of a beautiful, healthy smile.
To help Anastacia achieve this new smile, Dr. Patch and team removed a few teeth, grafted the area, and put bone material in to regrow bone. They also incorporated dental implants into her oral makeover. Over 90-95% of implants last 20 years or more, making them a great choice for long-term aesthetics and health. Anastacia also received Botox, laser hair removal on her face, and Kybella treatments on her neck, performed by Dr. Dean Bloch and Gale Wolfe, Licensed Medical Aesthetician of Medical Aesthetics of the Hudson Valley.
On the day of her reveal, Anastacia never looked so excited, vibrant, and confident! She told the You 2.0 team that the day before her reveal photoshoot, she enrolled in school to pursue the job of her dreams. Anastacia said that this gift has encouraged her to achieve her goals and gave her the confidence to do so.
Dr. Claudia Patch is passionate about changing the way our community thinks about dentistry and contributing to the overall health of our family and friends.
