Through Jul. 15: Marking Time: Andy Warhol’s Vision of Celebrations, Commemorations, and Anniversaries Andy Warhol took notice of various popular social practices to mark personal occasions such as births, deaths, and celebrations, representing them in his photography. This exhibit explores his insights into these social and personal significances. Agnes Hart (1912–1979): A Journey Towards Abstraction, features a selection of abstract paintings by the late Woodstock artist. The exhibition includes several of Hart’s large, colorful paintings in oil with the addition of sand, along with a selection of earlier works on paper. Hart’s inspirations are derived from urban scenes that depict a fractured space composed of animated pipes and smokestacks.
