Woodstock Way

Woodstock

The gently cascading waterfall within view of the Woodstock Way hotel complements the tranquility of the town it flows through. In fact, the property itself blends so perfectly into its wooded surroundings, you might not even notice it as you walk about the village center exploring every curious nook and cranny.

At its core, Woodstock Way aims to capture the bohemian spirit imbued in Woodstock’s history. The owners, Ryan Giuliani and Jesse Halliburton, have been part-time residents in the area for years, so it’s no wonder they were able to seamlessly incorporate this cozy-cabin mecca into a locale that strives to maintain a discernable harmony.

“In the past our small town has done very well being a day-tripper’s paradise,” says Giuliani. “Our goal was to capture the energy that surrounds Woodstock and give our guests a true authentic experience, an experience we feel is the future of the Hudson Valley and Woodstock.”

Currently, the hotel features 12 rooms, each with distinct personalities, including standards, suites, and two cabins set alongside the wooded stretch of the Tannery Brook. After further renovations are completed at the end of 2019, a total of 23 fully sustainable and consciously designed lodgings will be available.

Vinyl players and a smartly curated selection of records in each room invite guests to indulge in a bit of musical history. Open decks offer overlooking views of Woodstock Waterfall Park and the property’s natural context. Raw, locally sourced wood adorn each room, and metal furnishings create a hip, modern aesthetic. A stroll no further than, say, 50 yards will land you on Tinker Street — where shops brimming with local hippie history, fashion, and art await your perusal.
