Can you identify this spooky spiritual spot?

A visit to this church will haunt you.

Built in 1685, this celebrated church is the oldest operative one in New York State. It has remained in use since its construction, except during the Revolutionary War, when George Washington established encampment here for the Continental Army. It later became immortalized in one of history’s most iconic ghost tales and sits adjacent to the resting place of those who inspired the story.

Can you identify the name and location of this church? Submit your answer and memories of this location below. The first reader with the correct response will have their name in our next issue. Good luck!
