Slip, slide, and escape the heat all summer long at the Valley’s fun and exciting waterparks.

Splashdown Beach Fishkill

Then refuel with lunch or a snack at one of Splashdown’s eateries, like Cosimo’s Pizza, Nathan’s Famous, or the Frosty Shack. New this year: The Arctic Mammoth is the largest attraction in the park, standing more than six stories high and stretching out 600 feet long. $35, $30 seniors & children under 42 in. tall, $89 season passes. 845-897-9600; www.splashdownbeach.com
