There are plenty of ways to stay scared silly this Halloween season — here’s a sampling of Halloween events in the area.

You’ve got your costume, your crowd, and your hit list of candy-filled houses to visit on Halloween night. Looks like you’re set. But what are your plans for that weekend, or all those glorious days around it? Hallow’s Eve is, after all, one of the year’s most anticipated — and horrifyingly fun — holidays, so why not stretch it out a bit? Take a hint from us, and milk it for all its worth.

NEW YORK STATE MUSEUM
