Excitement and good cheer thrummed through the room as attendees packed the house for our 2018 Women in Business Awards. Held at the Villa Borghese on December 6, the ceremony honored our annual class of Hudson Valley leaders, as featured in our December issue. This year, 15 leading ladies, operating in fields ranging from administration and farming to law and marketing, made their way to Wappingers Falls to mark the occasion.
During the luncheon, keynote speaker Trish Adlesic, the Oscar and Emmy-nominated producer and director behind Gasland and I Am Evidence, brought down the house with her moving, personal journey in the film industry. New York State Senator Sue Serino also took the stage to congratulate the honorees on their impressive medley of achievements. By the time the afternoon came to a close, everyone was mingling, smiling, and more than a little excited to come back and do it all again (albeit with a new group of top-tier ladies) next year.
