If you’ve been waiting to see Grace VanderWaal live, now’s your chance. The 13-year-old Suffern native has been busy since her America’s Got Talent win in September, releasing her first album and embarking on a global tour. VanderWaal will return to the Valley after a short stint in Japan, headlining the Shops at Nanuet Summer Concert Series on Thursday, July 6.
She’ll be kicking off three weeks of free, outdoor musical performances with tunes from her “Perfectly Imperfect” EP, released in December. The concert will also feature an opening act by Nyack native, Isabella Rose. Following summer shows include performances by modern country band Country Fresh on August 10 and Lancaster-based cover band, The Amish Outlaws on September 7.
This year marks the fourth annual Shops at Nanuet Summer Concert Series in collaboration with iHeart Radio. All concerts will last from 5-8 pm, featuring food vendors and trucks, as well as kid-friendly activities, like face paining, balloon art, and a bounce house. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
