Kids and their parents have the chance to watch sap collection demonstrations from the trees, see what early Native American and Colonial sugaring sites would have looked like back in the day, and try their hand at making candy, porridge, and crafts out of the sap. Mar. 11: Toying with Science Combining circus skills, mime, original music, and audience involvement, Garry Krinsky teaches kids about the principles of gravity, leverage, fulcrums, and simple machines in a hilarious and upbeat show. Mar. 12: Ladybug Girl and Bumblebee Boy Based on the sensational book series (there are more than 3.3 million copies in print), this musical celebrates the wonderful and vast imaginations that children possess. When Lulu is told by her older brother that she cannot play baseball with him and his friends, she rounds up a ragtag group of her own pals to form the Bug Squad.
