Overview: For those looking to extend their love of farm-to-table dining to their wedding, Blooming Hill Farm in Monroe is the perfect venue. The newly built barn that serves as the main reception area sits proudly on this fully functioning farm. “We’re casual, but professional,” says Kevin Bresnan, events manager. “Parents are usually skeptical about their kids having a wedding on a farm, but we have it down to a tee.”
The Cost: Menu packages start at $105 per person; beverage packages start at $30 per person; the venue fee is $3,000. To accommodate groups larger than 85 guests, a wedding tent rental is required.

What’s Included: “We try to provide as much as possible, without having to get other vendors involved,” Bresnan says. The cost includes full use of the venue including buildings, tables, chairs, plates, silverware, linens, glassware, etc.; full-service catering including a two-part seasonal menu with cocktail hour, passed appetizers, and hors d’oeuvres, followed by a reception dinner in your chosen format; and event planning.
Standout Features: All of the catering is done in-house, which is a main point of pride for the venue. They create a seasonal menu based on what’s available on the farm during the time of year surrounding your wedding. Any ingredients that can’t be sourced from the farm directly (meat and fish, for example) will always be sourced from the highest quality purveyors, locally and organically if possible.
