Stunning homes and inspiring interiors are bountiful in the region, and our new Hudson Valley Home Design Awards seek to recognize the projects and people who continue to beautify the Hudson Valley’s residential spaces. Presented by Hudson Valley magazine, the new contest intends to celebrate the best of the region when it comes to home design.
What are the Hudson Valley Home Design Awards?
Debuting in 2025, submissions for the first-ever Home Design Awards are now open through December 15, 2024. To be considered for the awards, projects should be local to the Hudson Valley but can be designed by anyone, submissions should have professional photography and every category should have at least two images per entry, and projects must be located within an occupied home.
Additionally, Home Design Awards submissions must be uploaded along with a photo release form, projects are restricted to either traditional or modern categories but cannot be both, and projects can be entered in more than one category but can only win in one category. Entries must be submitted by the property owner or by an acting representative of the owner, and any incomplete submissions will be disqualified; please visit this page for further submission details and instructions.
Categories
The categories for the Home Design Awards include children’s bedroom, children’s play space, dining room, entry hall, kitchen, mudroom, outdoor living space, powder room, primary bath, primary bedroom, and rising design star. Note that entries in the powder room and bathroom categories do not require two images to be considered.
Winners
Winners for the first Hudson Valley Home Design Awards will be determined via an editorial review and will be announced in an upcoming print and digital feature in the spring of 2025.
