There’s a great number of things that define life in the Hudson Valley. Views of the Hudson River are chief on the list, as are hikes and walks with beautiful vistas, incredible farm-to-table dining, and a vibrant arts and culture scene. And, for anyone who loves to shop local, we’d add that grocery store runs to Adam Fairacre Farms are also on that list.
Luckily for us all, Adams gets the hype. That’s why it’s opening a new store in Middletown this month.
With a ribbon cutting on June 16 at 12 p.m., Adams Fairacre Farms presents the fifth location in its series of local storefronts to the Hudson Valley community. This is the latest addition for the local grocery store brand, which dates back to 1919 and also operates locations in Kingston, Newburgh, Poughkeepsie, and Wappinger. Located in Orange County, the new storefront aims to serve the Town of Wallkill and Middletown communities.
“We are very excited about the launch of our fifth store and joining the Town of Wallkill/Middletown,” enthuses CEO and owner Pat Adams. “At Adams Fairacre Farms, customers can anticipate a vast assortment of local farm-fresh produce, premium meats, seafood, specialty cheeses, and catering. We have a garden center, a greenhouse, and a nursery filled with many varieties of plants and flowers.”
For the Adams family, adding a Middletown location is a meaningful way for them to continue building upon their family- and community-centered traditions. To celebrate the opening, they’re planning a series of celebrations not just in Middletown but at all of their storefronts. Shoppers can expect a number of giveaways, including for a John Deere Model S110 lawn tractor, Weber Smokefire Ex6 Pellet Grill, Beach Bikes, and a Big Green Egg Grill. On top of that, visitors should keep an eye out for exclusive in-store $2.11 deals, which are an ode to the new store’s Route 211 address.
In addition to the deals and local brands stocked at Adams, part of what makes the store experience so special is the dedicated staff.
“You are going to enjoy our knowledgeable staff who go above and beyond to help customers find what they need and get what they love,” adds COO and owner Steve Adams.
