Nix the punch in favor of these six festive aperitifs

Festive parties call for festive cocktails. These six recipes — which incorporate flavors to satisfy even the pickiest of palates — promise to pack a punch at your next holiday get-together. Happy holidays, and drink responsibly!

Pomegranate Sparkler


  • 1 teaspoon fresh pomegranate seeds
  • 3 oz VOGA Prosecco
  • ½ oz pomegranate juice

  1. Scoop fresh pomegranate seeds into a champagne glass.
  2. Pour in pomegranate juice.
  3. Top with VOGA Prosecco.

Coconut Eggnog

Serves 6


  • 4 cans Coco Joy Coconut Water
  • 6 egg yolks
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 8 oz spiced rum
  • Ice
  • Cinnamon
  • Coconut flakes


  1. Bring coconut water to a simmer in a medium pot over medium-high heat. Whisk together egg yolks, sugar, and vanilla in a bowl until smooth and pale.
  2. Gradually whisk half the hot coconut water into the egg mixture, then pour into pot with remaining coconut water. Cook over medium heat, stirring, until thick and mixture nearly coats the back of a wooden spoon, 2-3 minutes.
  3. Pour through a fine strainer into a bowl. Stir in rum, and refrigerate at least 3 hours and up to overnight. Pour into a pitcher and serve over ice, garnished with coconut flakes and cinnamon.

Spiked Cranberry Lemonade


  • 3 oz Sparkling ICE Lemonade
  • 1 oz cranberry juice
  • 1½ oz vodka
  • Fresh cranberries and mint for garnish

  1. In a shaker, combine Sparkling ICE Lemonade, cranberry juice, and vodka.
  2. Pour into glass and garnish with fresh cranberries and mint sprig.

Sparkling Peppermint Swirl


  • 2½ oz VOGA Sparkling
  • 1½ oz vanilla vodka
  • 1 oz crème de menthe liquor
  • Splash of Grenadine


  1. In a shaker, combine ice, vodka and crème de menthe and grenadine.
  2. Stir gently and strain into a chilled martini glass rimmed with crushed candy canes.
  3. Top with VOGA Sparkling and garnish with a candy cane.

Coconut Cucumber Gin Fizz


  • 2 oz Coco Joy Coconut Water
  • 2 oz gin
  • 1 oz lime sparkling water
  • Fresh lime wedge, cucumber slices, and basil for garnish


  1. Place sliced cucumber and mint leaves in the bottom of a glass.
  2. Muddle and fill glass with ice.
  3. Shake Coco Joy, gin, and sparkling water; pour into glass.
  4. Garnish with fresh cucumber, lime, and mint.

Raspberry Shooters

  • Black Raspberry Sparkling ICE
  • 1 oz vanilla-flavored vodka
  • White sugar nonpareils for rims of each shot glass


  1. Wet the rim of a chilled shot glass and dip into a shallow bowl of nonpareils.
  2. Pour in chilled vodka and top with a splash of Black Raspberry Sparkling ICE.
