As you may have heard, we’re all pretty amped that Chef Brian Arnoff of Kitchen Sink will soon be serving killer burgers on Main Street, Beacon, too. Deemed Meyer’s Olde Dutch after Arnoff’s great-grandfather, the opening of his new restaurant seems to be opening later than the May date we initially anticipated. However, those in the know will now have the opportunity to sample some of the locally sourced fare beforehand.
Throughout the month of June, Meyer’s will be holding an ongoing soft-opening Wednesdays through Sundays from noon to 8 p.m. A limited menu will be available that includes assorted burgers — like the Double Dutch, two quarter-pound Hudson Valley Cattle Company beef patties, bacon, special sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion, and cheddar cheese; and the Lamb Jam, with a lamb patty, tomato jam, and Acorn Hill farm feta — salads, fries, and more.
Because the dining room is still under construction, guests will have to venture around back to take advantage to this sneak preview-snack. But that’s okay; we think it just adds another layer to that fun, “sneaky” part of it.
(P.S.: A selection of local beers will also be offered for just four bucks. You should probably go try it.)
