Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum Memorial Day Weekend Events
In honor of America’s veterans, the FDR museum hosts its annual USO show on Friday at 7 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, guests can explore a recreation of a World War II encampment, as well as a display of military items. Starting at 2 p.m. on Church Street, the parade travels through the Village of Fishkill and ends at Monument Square. www.vofishkill.us
Town of Newburgh Memorial Day Parade
Memorial services begin at 10 a.m. at the Newburgh Town Hall; the parade kicks off at 1 p.m. www.townofnewburgh.org
Memorial Day Eve Illumination of the Walkway Ceremony
A sunset vigil will take place on the Walkway Over the Hudson’s Center Overlook flagpole starting at 8 p.m. Be sure to bring a flashlight or glowstick to help illuminate the Walkway. www.walkway.org

Downtown Albany Memorial Day Parade
Beginning at Partridge St. and Central Ave. at 9 a.m., the parade winds through the city and ends at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Lafayette Park for a ceremony to honor our veterans at 12 p.m. www.albany.com
Beacon Memorial Day Parade
A Sailors Memorial Service will be held at 8 a.m. on the Fishkill Creek Bridge. The parade will begin on South Avenue and Main Street at 9:30 a.m., with a memorial service immediately after in front of the Veterans Memorial Building on Main Street.
Coxsackie Memorial Day Parade

Haverstraw Memorial Day Services
Services will be held at Haverstraw Town Hall, Calico Hill Veterans Memorial, the Civil War Monument on Hudson Avenue, the World War II Memorial, and conclude at the World War I monument at Mount Repose Cemetery. Services will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 11 a.m.
Hudson Memorial Day Parade
Beginning at 10 a.m., Hudson’s parade will form on Milford Road and continue east on Route 303 to Route 91. The parade will conclude at Markillie Cemetery, where there will be a brief service. Parade entry forms can be found at www.americanlegionhudson464.weebly.com
Hyde Park Memorial Day Parade

Kingston Memorial Day Parade

Montgomery Memorial Day Parade

Rhinebeck Memorial Day Parade
Led by the Rhinebeck High School Band, the parade will proceed down Mulberry Street to East Market Street. There will be flag raisings and wreath laying ceremonies all along the way, ending at the Rhinebeck Cemetery. Stony Point Memorial Day Parade

Tuxedo Memorial Day Community Picnic and Fundraiser
The parade begins at 11 a.m. on Route 17. At 12 p.m. there will be a picnic at the Tuxedo Park Library, featuring a deejay, custom photographs, Steve the Balloon Man, Mario the Magician, a bounce house, food, and games.
