Cheers to Beer!
The article on HV craft breweries was great (August). Being a minor league craft brew aficionado, I thought I knew where most of the local breweries were; I was very wrong. You pointed out many I had never heard of and definitely will try. What would have made the article perfect is an inset map showing where each of the featured breweries is located so a tasting trip could be planned.

I very much enjoyed your article about the lively Kingston arts scene (Chatter, August). I’d like to add that this year the Ulster Ballet celebrated its 30th year sponsoring its annual Festival of Dance. This event continues to be a showcase for regional dance companies and has been very well received by the community. We look forward to next year’s festival and hopefully many more to come.

While doing a Google search, I stumbled on the article you wrote on Tony’s Pizzeria (“Fresh, Hot, Delicious Pizza,” January). I want to thank you for your kind words about my grandfather — my namesake — and his pizzeria business. It brought back wonderful memories of my childhood.
