Justin Bieber is the talk of the Hudson Valley for something he did this weekend. While seeing his face plastered all over the news is nothing surprising, it’s not for anything he needs to say sorry for.
The Biebs took to the Army West Point hockey rink this Saturday, showing off a bit of his inner Canadian in a friendly match between cadets. Wearing West Point forward Nick DeCenzo’s #6 jersey, Bieber proved himself adept on the ice, earning a shoutout from the West Point Twitter account, saying “Bieber knows the rules …respect the logo.” (A reply from a Larry Watts was quick to point out Bieber’s past transgression when he unwittingly stood on the Chicago Blackhawk’s logo in their dressing room in 2013.)

DeCenzo gave the Bieber hockey props, too, tweeting that he, “assisted my goal.” This should come as no surprise: the 23-year-old pop star is no stranger to the game, taking a few nasty hits but ultimately scoring a goal at the 2017 NHL All-Star Celebrity Shootout this past January.
Snapping a post-game picture wearing West Point gear, it’s clear Bieber (center) impressed the team with his A-game. Who knows, perhaps he could have had a career on the ice if he didn’t get into music? Never say never.
