For just $30, eat and dance the night away at Ms. Fairfax’s Grit & Glamour New Year’s Eve Dance Party. Included in your ticket price is an all-you-can-eat buffet from 7 to 10 p.m., featuring stick-to-your-ribs mac and cheese and zesty carnitas tacos, and later, a champagne toast and dance-worthy tracks from DJ and live percussion duo The Invaders. The Roundhouse

Depending on what you’re in the mood for, The Roundhouse in Beacon offers a plethora of New Year’s Eve choices. Enjoy a four-course dinner early in the evening for $85 that includes delicacies such as Hudson Valley foie gras torchon and butter poached lobster, or upgrade to the five-course gala menu for $125 served after 7 p.m. featuring Nantucket scallops and chestnut gnudi with black truffle “air” (check out the full menu here). The gala seating also includes a champagne toast and fun party favors. If you end up partying too hard that night, book a stay in one of Roundhouse’s luxury rooms; rates start at $359 for New Year’s Eve and include breakfast the next day.

Laugh your way into the New Year at Albany’s theREP’s Pretty Much the Best Comedy Show. Featuring stand-up comedy from Joe List, Chris Lamberth, and Greg Stone, you’re bound to let out some belly laughs to welcome 2017. Doors open at 8:30 p.m., the show starts at 9. Tickets (available here) are $30 in advance, and $35 at the door.

Illuminate Goshen

For a more family-friendly New Year’s Eve, check out the Town of Goshen’s Illuminate Goshen New Year’s Eve Extravaganza. From 7 to 9 p.m. bring the kids out for crafts, a magic show, and balloon animals — all for free. An “early to bed” countdown takes place at 9 p.m.; stick around after for live music from JP and Skitch and the Erie Street Band. Ball drop countdown begins at 11:59 p.m.

Denning’s Point Distillery

Bust out your best dance moves for Denning’s Point Distillery’s Dance Distilled: New Year’s 2K17 event. For $6 in advance or $10 at the door, catch DJs Zesto Q and Freefall while enjoying $7 craft cocktails – or if you’d prefer, grab an unlimited drink wristband for $50. Tickets can be found here.

Step back in time with Bull & Barrel’s 20s-themed Roaring In NYE 2017. For $75, enjoy a five-course tasting menu, four-hour premium bar, DJ entertainment, and more; doors open at 7:30 p.m. If you’ve already dined elsewhere and are just looking for someplace to get your groove on, $10 gets you in the door for music and a champagne toast only. Don’t forget your flapper dress and fedora hat!

Uptown Kingston

Hosted in part by BSP Kingston, Chronogram, Boitson’s Restaurant, Sav-on Party Central and Radio Woodstock 100.1, this all-night festival will be a night to remember. Featuring multiple restaurants, bars, and lounges from all over the Stockade District in Kingston, drink specials, dinner specials, and live music and DJs can be found for a raucous – but safe! – night out. BSP Kingston will be hosting a night of performances and dancing for $34.35; doors open at 8 p.m., tickets can be found here.
