People Magazine just named two new cloth diapers they love — and, of course, Mama Greenest has the poop scoop

We’ve discussed eco-friendly diapers a-plenty here at Mama Greenest (see the links below); now, there are two more hybrid diapers out there for you to try: GroVia and Charlie Banana. Hybrid diapers — which Dr. Alan Greene argues are the most environmentally friendly option — have a reusable cloth on the outside with a flushable/compostable/biodegradable on the inside (though most hybrids like gDiaper and the BumGenius Flip can now be used with cloth inserts, too). GroVia and Charlie Banana also offer cloth inserts, which saves lots of money in the long run.

If you’ve yet to be convinced of hybrids’ mainstream potential: Both GroVia and Charlie Banana were featured on People Magazine’s Babies Web page as “Two New Cloth Diapers We Love.”
