Fellow Parenting Blog to Follow (and Some Tips on Winter Baby-Wearing)

Mama Greenest shares one of her favorite parenting blogs, which offers some helpful tips on winter baby-wearing

When Coraline was born I was lucky to reconnect with an acquaintance from high school who, at the time, had a one-year-old daughter. We bonded over cloth diapering, breastfeeding, and co-sleeping. We’d take the girls to Bash Bish Falls or to the Rhinecliff train station early in the morning to watch the trains go by; time with her was always unconventional and inspiring. I envied her total free spirit, and how that translated to her parenting. She’s a mom I look up to — she’s a natural, and lives totally in line with her values. For the last two years she’s been living in Copenhagen, Denmark with her husband and two daughters (ages four and almost one), so sadly we haven’t seen them in a long time.

But I keep up with her many projects and adventures via her blog The Adventures of Chicolini and Company, which she started while riding out the last trimester of her first pregnancy in Costa Rica (she also spent the last trimester of her second pregnancy backpacking around Central America, with toddler in tow). She blogs about all sorts of interesting things, from unschooling to travel. I thought I’d share a recent post about winter baby wearing, complete with images and dos and don’ts. Pretty helpful, in my opinion. You know, if you’re into that sort of thing.
