Friends Forever

Dec. 5-7: Sesame Street Live: Make a New Friend Meeting new friends can be scary, especially when you are from a different country. That’s exactly what happens to Grover’s cousin Chamki, who is from India. But Grover and Elmo, Abby Cadabby, and other Sesame Street buddies soon make Chamki feel comfortable by singing fun songs, learning about her home, and sharing cookies. Ticket prices range from $16 to $60. Call or visit Web site for show times. Mid-Hudson Civic Center. 14 Civic Center Plaza, Poughkeepsie. 845-454-5800; www.midhudsonciviccenter.org
