11th Children’s Earth & Water Festival

Thomas Bull Memorial Park, Montgomery

Head to Montgomery on Saturday for the free family-friendly event that revolves around all things green. Kids will love the abundance of games and activities, which include face painting and a bouncy house. Adults, meanwhile, can spend their time shopping the artisan crafts, health, and eco-friendly vendors. As a bonus, the Arm-of-the-Sea Theater will perform during the day as well.

Craft Market Walk

Main Street, Gardiner
June 2, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

This Saturday, the village of Gardiner hosts a special community event to highlight the talented artisans and farmers in and around the region. Spread over the course of a mile from the Gardiner Library to the Farmer’s Market Grounds, the walk crosses the Gardiner Rail Trail and, conveniently, the Yard Owl Craft Brewery. Music, raffles, and other activities will occur during the free event, so be sure to stick around for a few hours.

 

5th Annual Flavors of Haverstraw Food Crawl

Main Street, Haverstraw
June 3, 1-5 p.m.

For its fifth annual food crawl, Haverstraw brings together more than 15 restaurants to spotlight the delectable flavors of the city’s cuisine. For the first year ever, the event will include the NY Craft Beverage Garden, an outdoor drink spot that allows visitors to sample beers, wines, and ciders from Rockland and the lower Hudson Valley. Come hungry!

 

Friday Night Lights Cruise Night

June 1, 6-9 p.m.

Celebrate the start of summer Fridays with this Red Hook cruise night. Stroll the streets and check out the sweet rides on display as you hum to the live music that plays in the background. Food trucks Frites of NY and Enjoy-A-Ball will serve up tasty treats to fuel the evening walks.
