Just in time for New Year’s Eve, the Capital region library hosts a cook-off for young chefs to ignite a friendly rivalry and see who can concoct the most unforgettable noodle dish of the day. Eggbert After Dark Volume III: Eggbert Strikes Back

On Friday, everyone’s favorite egg returns to Newburgh for round three of the brewery’s holiday festivities. To celebrate the limited-edition release of the last batch of Angry Eggbert IPA, Newburgh will serve and sell the seasonal brew for the last time in 2018. Taprooms doors open at 4 p.m., while Eggbert warms up to the crowd at 8 p.m. Plan on getting to the brewery early if you want to score a spot and a sip.
