The View at Beacon charms with open, spacious units and a proximity to Main Street and the train station.

It’s no secret that Beacon is thriving. As one of the first Hudson Valley cities to explode on the map of attractions in the region, the Dutchess County hub has witnessed a somewhat overwhelming influx of new residents in and around town. Yet with the burgeoning population comes the inevitable quandary. Where is everyone to live?

The View at Beacon is here to help, at least in part. After a grand debut in mid-May, the apartment complex is ready for rental inquiries. A luxurious setting, The View houses an intimate 41 living spaces that rest a short way away from Beacon’s Main Street.

Within the elevator-accessible retreat, which is about a five-minute trek from the city’s train station, prospective residents will find creature comforts like a 24-hour fitness center, secure in-building parking, and concierge technology. On the top floor, an open rooftop gives meaning to The View’s name, offering a breathtaking panorama of the Hudson Valley skyline and the river nearby. The roof’s patio is open for events and is the perfect place to relax on warm nights or gather with guests for informal get-togethers. Unlike other apartments in the area, The View is a pet-friendly establishment and creates a welcome space for furry friends both inside the venue (it has a pet washing station on the first floor) and outside on well-manicured sidewalks that eventually connect with the dog park in town.

Floorplans range from one-bed, one-baths with 670 square feet of space to two-bed, one-baths with varying square footage and charming terraces. There are also a number of two-bed, two-bath options that range from 1,188 to 1,509 square feet and include terrace extensions as well.

Of course, for those who desire additional luxury and privacy, The View offers eight penthouses on the upper floors. Each has an expanded two-bed, two-bath layout and ample terrace space for outdoor enjoyment.

In terms of design, The View at Beacon is a study in contemporary comfort. Serene, carpeted hallways lead into modern kitchens, sleek bathrooms, and airy bedrooms, all of which are available for customization with high-end appliances and quality finishes to the cabinets, counters, fixtures, and flooring. Natural lighting is a theme throughout, thanks to large, open windows that make the most of Beacon’s clear skies and tree-lined streets.

Pricing for The View at Beacon apartments is comparable to home costs in town and throughout Dutchess County. Two-bed, two-bath units begin at $423,500, while penthouse spaces run $1,120,000 and up.
